Welcome to another winter season, here at Derrynane Holiday Homes, on the glorious Ring of Kerry. We look forward to the opportunity of welcoming back old friends and making new friends over the coming months where our Holiday Homes are a favourite for those who wish to enjoy the magnificent Outdoors – superb walks and trails, stunning sunsets and golden beaches.
Amidst the most spectacular scenery in Ireland, halfway round the famous Ring of Kerry lies the family-run Derrynane Hotel and Holiday Homes. Our seaside hotel is in the most beautiful location on the Ring of Kerry along the South West coast overlooking Kenmare Bay and beside the village of Caherdaniel, County Kerry. We have fifty en-suite bedrooms and eight deluxe holiday homes.
During the summer months, you can enjoy our leisure facilities which include: 15m Outdoor heated pool, steam room, sauna, gym, tennis court, children’s playroomand luxurious seaweed bath and during the winter, enjoy our gardens overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Beara Peninsula.
Derrynane is the perfect base for your winter break or holiday to explore the Ring of Kerry, or just to relax and enjoy the wonders of nature – a stroll along our golden beaches or through the tropical gardens of Derrynane House and National Park. Enjoy all our wonderful local activities: Horse-riding at Eagle Rock Equestrian Centre, Surfing, Waterskiing or Canoeing at Derrynane Seaports, visit the Skelligs Rock, walk the Kerry Way and Derrynane Mass Path. Walks for all levels can be enjoyed by our very own self guided Walking Routes booklet. We are delighted to be re-opening the hotel on 29th April for the 2010 season and we are also delighted to announce the opening of lovely new leisure facilites with new Steam Room, Sauna, Relaxation Area and new Changing Rooms. We will also have a fantastic new gym. This new area will be opening on May 25th, 2010, including our outdoor heated pool.
